Off-Campus Access: Find e-Reserves

This guide provides information about using the University of Idaho Library from outside of the library building.

Finding eReserves

If your professor tells you to read materials "on reserve" (or eReserve), visit the library's Course Reserves Listings. For best results, sign in at the upper right corner.

Once you see a list of readings, just click on the "View online" link or a PDF if it is available. If you haven't already signed in, you'll be prompted to do so before the reading loads.

eReserves in Canvas

Your professor may have added your course reserves to Canvas. If so, you'll see the course reserves embedded in your Canvas course.  Check with your professor if you can't find the link.  It may be called "Course Reserves," "E-Reserves," "Library Resource List," or "Library Reading List."

Course Reserves in Canvasy be called "Course Reserves", "Library Resource List", or "Library Reading List."
