Pandemics

Perhaps the most famous pandemic, the Black Plague ravaged Europe, Africa, and Asia, for a decade, racking up a death toll between 75 and 200 million people. Possibly originating in Asia, the Plague was carried by fleas who infested the animals carried aboard ocean going vessels.
