Viewing Microfilm

Newspapers on microfilm and microfilm viewer/scanners are located on the 3rd floor of the library.

You can scan and save the article to your thumb drive or print copies of articles for 10 cents per page. You can either bring your own thumb drive or purchase one for $6 at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor.

Older issues of the library's print newspapers are available on microfilm, located on the 3rd floor of the library. 

Idaho and local newspapers available on microfilm

Newspapers are listed alphabetically by city, followed by the county.
Each entry lists:

  • All newspapers published in that city
  • Dates of publication
  • Former names
