Start your search for books and articles in the UI Library catalog by selecting the search scope: UI Only (items owned by UI); + Summit (books and materials owned by UI and member libraries); + Summit + Articles (books and materials owned by UI and member libraries plus full-text electronic articles).
Summit is a free service that provides access to print materials from 37 academic libraries throughout Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. The service is available to all affiliates of the University of Idaho.
If you find a print book owned by the UI Library that you'd like to borrow, just make a request for it. We'll mail it to you. To make arrangements, call 208-885-6559 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware that while we mail books to you free of charge, you need to pay your own postage to return them to us.
STEP 1. Click Request Item.
STEP 2. Select "UI Library" as pick-up location. Don't worry - we'll know to mail it to you!
