University of Idaho Library Cartographic Collections

Whether you are looking for the most up-to-date geospatial information or a unique visual aid for a history presentation, the University of Idaho Library Cartographic Collections have a number of resources for you to use!

The Map Room Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the summer) with weekend hours available by appointment.

Digital Collections are available around the clock.

 

 

Check Out and Assistance

Check Out:

Maps and Atlases can be checked out for three days at a time. Please contact the reference desk if you would like to check out a map or atlas. 

Atlases in the main stacks check out for regular times; undergraduates 28 days, faculty, staff, and graduate students one semester.
