Whether you are looking for the most up-to-date geospatial information or a unique visual aid for a history presentation, the University of Idaho Library Cartographic Collections have a number of resources for you to use!

The Map Room Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with weekend hours available by appointment.

Digital Collections are available around the clock.


Check Out and Assistance

Check Out:

Maps and Atlases can be checked out for three days at a time. Please ask at the reference desk if you would like to check out a map or atlas. A librarian will be happy to fill out a special check-out form for these items.

Atlases in the main stacks check out for regular times; undergraduates 28 days, faculty and graduate students one semester.

Help Finding Maps:

Just ask for assistance at the Reference Desk if you have any map related questions.
