If you need a book that's not available at the UI Library, use the library's free Interlibrary Loan service or Summit to request it.You can also request articles and other research materials through Interlibrary Loan.
Locate the book you would like to request using thelibrary catalog
If the book is not available, or checked out in UI and Summit, click on
Enter your user name (the barcode located on the back of your Vandal Card) and password (self selected during ILL registration)
Verify book request to make sure all necessary fields are complete, and submit
A record of the request should appear on your ILL account page
