Off-Campus Access: Home

This guide provides information about using the University of Idaho Library from outside of the library building.

Welcome!

If you are taking classes online or at one of the University of Idaho centers, this guide is for you! Use the tabs above to discover how to access library resources without ever stepping into the building!

To use this guide, try opening up a separate browser tab or window and follow along with the instructions you see within it.

Getting Started

Welcome to the University of Idaho Library! We offer an ever-increasing variety of resources that off-campus students can access from anywhere in the world.

To make the most of the library's online resources from off-campus, you will typically need to enter your Net ID (Vandal Email address and password) when prompted.  If you don't yet know your Net ID, please contact ITS at support@uidaho.edu, 208-885-4357, or visit support.uidaho.edu.

Please visit our help page or contact us with any questions at libref@uidaho.edu, via phone at 208-885-6584, via text at 208-449-0841, or via chat.
